Hi, I'm Paul. I'm the practice principal. I graduated from Dundee University in 1998 and have worked in general practice since then, including a year working in Australia.

I also work as a Vocational Trainer to newly-qualified dentists helping them with any problems which may arise. I am committed to continuing professional development and regularly attend update courses. I have also completed a post graduate diploma giving me membership into the Royal College of Surgeons.

My particular areas of interest are cosmetic dentistry and restorative (crowns and bridges) dentistry. I have also completed my training in dental implants and I enjoy the benefits which these bring to patients.

    Hi, I'm Jenny. I graduated in July 2007 from Queen's University in Belfast. I completed my vocational training year at West Calder Dental Care which enhanced my knowledge and skills for working in General Practice.

To adhere to the continuing professional development guidelines I ensure that my knowledge and skills are up-to-date by regularly attending post-graduate courses.

I am particularly interested in cosmetic and restorative dentistry including crown and bridge work and plan to offer facial recontouring through botox injections in the near future.

          Hi, I'm Gareth. I graduated in July 2008 from Queens University in Belfast. I completed the Vocational Training scheme last year, which offers advice and support to newly-qualified dentists and allowed me to give the high quality of dental care that I offer today.

My particular areas of interest are restorative dentistry and cosmetic dentistry. In the future, I hope to complete an array of courses that will permit me to offer the latest methods in the many divisions of dental aesthetics (crowns, veneers, bleaching, orthodontics etc)

Hi I'm Chris. I am currently doing my vocational training year after graduating in July 2009. Although I graduated from Queen's University in Belfast I decided to come to West Calder as it offered me a great opportunity to work in a modern and progressive practice.

My particular areas of interest within dentistry are, restorative dentistry (crowns and bridges) and dentures.

In the future I hope to work in general practice and continue with my professional development.

This is the rest of our team. We have five fully qualified dental nurses, one of whom, Donna, acts as
practice manager. We also have a full time receptionist.



All of our dental nurses are caring and friendly. If you are nervous, they will help to put you at ease.
