Our Dentists

Hi, I’m Paul. I’m the practice principal. I graduated from Dundee University in 1998 and have worked in general practice since then, including a year working in Australia.

I am committed to continuing professional development and regularly attend update courses. I have also completed a post graduate diploma giving me membership into the Royal College of Surgeons.

My particular areas of interest are cosmetic dentistry and restorative (crowns and bridges) dentistry. I have also completed my training in dental implants and I enjoy the benefits which these bring to patients.

Hi, I’m Chris. I graduated from Queens university in 2009. I completed my vocational training at West Calder Dental Care in 2010 and have remained with the practice ever since.

I have worked in all aspects of general practice throughout this time, gaining valuable experience. In 2013 I completed my post graduate diploma to become a member of the joint dental faculties, royal college of surgeons.

I enjoy all aspects of general dentistry, including crowns, bridges and dentures. I also have a particular interest in oral surgery and minor oral surgery procedures.

Along side being a general dental practitioner, I work with newly qualified dentists as a vocational dental trainer. Helping them develop and mentoring them throughout their vocational training year.

I regularly attend courses throughout the year, updating and maintaining the dental care I provide for our patients.

Hi, I’m Lauren. I graduated in July 2007 from Queen’s University in Belfast.

I completed my vocational training year at West Calder Dental Care which enhanced my knowledge and skills for working in general practice.

To adhere to continuing professional development guidelines, I ensure that my knowledge and skills are up-to-date by regularly attending post-graduate courses.

I am particularly interested in cosmetic and restorative dentistry, including crown and bridge work and plan to offer facial re-contouring through Botox® injections in the near future.

Hi, I’m Wallis. I graduated from Dundee University in July 2019. I completed my vocational training year at West Calder Dental Care which enhanced my knowledge and skills for working in general practice.

I enjoy all aspects of general dentistry, particularly treating anxious patients.

Hi, I’m Eilidh and I graduated in June 2022 from the University of Dundee.

I am looking forward to working at West Calder Dental Care and building on the knowledge and skills that I have accumulated at Dundee University. I enjoy all aspects of general dentistry and the variety of different treatments. In particular, I am interested in restorative dentistry and dentures.

Outside of dentistry, I enjoy spending time outdoors and swimming. I also like to spend time with my family and friends.
